Temperature Sensor Introduction

One of the most popular gas detection devices we use at home is the thermostat. It usually consists of temperature and humidity sensors. Temperature sensors are categorized into two basic types: Contact Temperature Sensor and Non-Contact Temperature Sensor. Contact Temperature Sensors requires physical contact with the detected object while the Non-Contact type doesn’t. The thermostat is categorized as being the contact sensor type. There are also four common types of temperature sensors including a thermistor, Resistive Temperature Device (RTD), thermocouple and Integrated Silicon Linear Sensor.
