On Thursday November 4, 2016 residents of Toronto’s west-end neighbourhood were warned to remain indoors due to a fog of acid that had been released into the air, after a sulphuric acid spill. Toronto Fire Services said a small amount of hydrochloric acid had been added “in error”.
